Keypad is made of fingerprint-resistant touchscreen. Buttons are resistant for wear off situations and no fingerprints are left after the usage. It has modern design with large buttons to make it easy to use. Very durable and well designed for long time usage.
Schlage has used a different lighting on this keypad. It does not have backlit on the keys but pressing the Schlage button at the top of the keypad activates a small LED that illuminates the numbers.
